Fraudulent eMails

It does occur that customers who are selling an item through virtual marketplaces including eBay and Amazon receive a message from a potential buyer asking the customer to send the item(s) by regular mail. The potential buyer also sends a fraudulent transaction confirmation by email to secure payment made for relevant items. The confirmation may include the name and picture of an employee of Credit Europe Bank.

Please be aware that Credit Europe Bank does not provide such payment services. Credit Europe Bank and its employees are not involved in these kinds of transaction confirmations. These messages can be considered as a fraud attempt. We recommend to anyone who receives such a message not to enter into communication.

If you are a victim of cybercrime, please contact your local police.
