Scott Cheung appointed to Managing Board

The Supervisory Board of Credit Europe Bank N.V. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Scott Cheung as member of its Managing Board. The appointment, which has been approved by De Nederlandsche Bank (Dutch Central Bank), fits in the Bank’s strategy to further strengthen its sound risk management framework.

Scott Cheung, Dutch national, will assume the role of ‘Chief Risk Officer’, becoming group-wide responsible for both Financial and Non-Financial Risk Management. Mr. Cheung, who accomplished the post-graduate education ”Registeraccountant” at the University of Amsterdam, worked  6 years for Ernst & Young Accountants in Amsterdam and Hong Kong before joining Credit Europe Bank in 2002 as Head of  the Internal Audit Department in Amsterdam. In 2006, he was appointed as Head of Group Audit, responsible for coordinating the group’s Internal Audit activities in the 11 countries where the bank is located.
